The house originally belonged to the Katopodis family (a frequent surname in Lefkada), to distinguish from other families who shared the same surname, the nickname "Bellas" was given. So that's how the name "La casa di Bella" was created!

The house was tastefully renovated in 2021 

Shades of green, elements of stone, and wood are all features of the area’s traditional architecture which blend through a contemporary viewpoint creating an essence of familiarity, a unique view where the old and new coexist in harmony.
